The unit trust has an eleven year track record. It is managed on an absolute return basis in terms of the rules set out in the Collective Investments Schemes Act. The fund’s main asset classes are equity and cash but can also include ETFs, foreign exchange and bonds.

The Visio BCI General Equity Fund is a general equity portfolio with an investment universe consisting primarily of equity securities, with the equity exposure always above 80%. The fund may also invest in preference shares, debentures, debenture bonds, money market instruments, interest bearing securities, non-equity securities, property shares and property related securities listed on exchanges and assets in liquid form.

To invest in the Visio BCI Actinio Unit Trust please follow the five step process below:  

1. Please download and complete the following application form: VISIO BCI Actinio application form - Individuals

2. Deposit your investment into the bank account as per the details on page 3 of the application form  

3. Email your completed application form, proof of deposit and supporting documents (listed on page 1 of the application form) to instructions@bci-transact.co.za  

4. The Boutique Collective Investments (BCI) client services department will send you an email confirming your investment  

5. Monthly investor statements are accessible by logging on to the BCI Online Portal at https://www.bci-transact.co.za

Our preference is to engage with selected institutional investors, multi managers and family trusts on a direct level. Our marketing initiatives are generally limited to the monthly distribution of fact sheets and newsletters on a selective basis. The hedge funds returns do not feature in any hedge fund surveys with the exception of  the Visio Market Neutral Fund.

What is the minimum unit trust investment amount? The minimum lump sum investment is R10 000 per account. The minimum debit order is R500 per month.  
What FICA documentation should I include with my unit trust application form?1. A certified or notarised copy of a valid I.D document containing a photo, full names, date of birth & ID number.
2. A cancelled cheque or bank statement (not older than 3 months).
3. A document (not older than 3 months) showing your residential address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, tax invoice, Telkom account, payslip or municipal rates). * A passport /driver’s license containing the above information will only be accepted with a written reason for the unavailability of the ID document. Please send these FICA documents and completed unit trust form together with proof of deposit to instructions@bci-transact.co.za
